Waterdown Outdoor Skating Path
Located in Memorial Park, the project will provide a refrigerated ice-skating path in a free-form configuration replicating a frozen river with a pond area for young children and beginner skaters. Users will be able to roller-skate on the concrete rink slab during warmer weather. The project, which will include a small park building housing the refrigeration equipment, ice re-surfacer machine, public washrooms and a small change area, is jointly funded by the City and Rotary Club of Waterdown.
