Cattel seniors Centre
As an addition to the historical Dundas Armoury, the exterior design of this 280 m2 community centre was conceived to be visually compatible with the existing heritage building.
The seniors centre includes a multi-use meeting space, parlour with fireplace, lobby/street with shuffleboard court, kitchen, office, washrooms and storage space
The modern, warm interior features exposed paralam beams and wood roof deck with generous natural light. Built-in perimeter benching also provides horizontal service spaces for HVAC ductwork.
