NOVEMBER 3, 2016 | The Indwell Hambleton Hall has been awarded as part of the first-ever Norfolk County Site Plan Awards. It has been great working with the planning department on making this adaptive reuse project in downtown Simcoe!
OCTOBER 18, 2016 | It was a great evening as part of the AGH World Film Festival sponsored by Hamilton Burlington Society of Architects & Young Architects of Hamilton. The film that was a recent documentary called “Making Space: 5 Women Changing the Face of Architecture”. After the film there was a penel discussion with four local female architects, including Invizij's own Emma Cubitt.

SEPTEMBER 16, 2016 | It was a beautiful day today for the Indwell Strathearne Suites Grand Opening. This proejct created 39 studio apartments and amenity spaces and is in partnership with the Local Health Integration Network.

JUNE 17, 2016 | The Rudy Hulst Commons grand openign was today, what a beautiful day it was! We are proud to be the architect of this building that creats 47 much-needed affordable housing units in East Hamilton as well as a head office for Indwell and additional retail space.

APRIL 22, 2016 | Our team attended the Indwell Hope & Homes banquet in Simcoe today. It was a great turnout for the first event like this in Simcoe to focus on the Hambleton Hall restoration and creation of affordable housing in their community.
APRIL 02, 2016 | Emma was an invited speaker at the Hamilton Tenants Solidarity Network's first conference called "Building Together", held at the Perkins Centre. Her talk focused on Invizij's recent affordable housign projects and what makes them special from a low cost operations (low-energy design) and community development perspective.
OCTOBER 16, 2015 | We were thrilled to win the 2015 Hamilton Building Inspection Recognition of Excellence Award last night at the HBSA OAA President's Dinner. Thanks to Chief Building Official Ed VanderWindt and Manager of Building Inspections John Lane for giving us this special honour!
SEPTEMBER 21, 2015 | Hamilton and the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre have been chosen out of 24 cities across the province to partner on a first of its kind community food centre, and we are thrilled to be their architects! Next year we will have our very own Community Food Centres Canada on the mountain based on the model of The Stop Community Food Centre in Toronto! Read more here.
SEPTEMBER 19, 2015 | We were at the Waterdown Memorial Skate Loop ground breaking today, marking the start of the construction of this exciting new facility in Waterdown Memorial Park. Invizij Architects and Toms + McNally participated in the celebrations along with the Rotary Club of Waterdown, Councillor Partridge, and representatives of the City of Hamilton.
JUNE 24, 2015 | The Indwell Harvey Woods Lofts ribbon cutting ceremony took place today, celebrating the completion of the first phase of this project which includes 54 affordable apartments. This Grand Opening ceremony took place three weeks after a public open house, which saw hundreds of interested people from the community check out this affordable housing redevelopment. MAY 7, 2015 | Grace helped lead a tour, along with Indwell and City Housing Hamilton, as part of the OAA Conference on new affordable housing projects in Hamilton. Stops included the Perkins Centre, Rudy Hulst Commons (under construction), 95 King St., and the Gore Building.
MAY 6-8, 2015 | Congratulations to the Hamilton Burlington Society of Architects for a successful first-ever Architecture Crawl in Hamilton as part of the OAA Conference. This year was the first time in the 125 year history that the OAA was hosted in Hamilton, which was very exciting for our office.

A Licensed Technologist of the Ontario Association of Architects, Bob has over 25 years of architectural experience including 17 years with Invizij and its predecessor firm. Bob is passionate about his work. His dedication and attention to detail have resulted in numerous successful projects completed to the satisfaction of our clients. Bob has played important roles in many projects including Hamilton City Hall Renovations, Dunnville and Cayuga Arenas, and the Harvey Woods Lofts. Congratulations Bob!
JANUARY 5-8, 2015 | Emma is volunteering part of this week with No.9 Contemporary Art and the Environment at their first school in the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board with a great group of grade 7 students at Sir William Osler school in Dundas. No.9 is an arts organization that uses art and design to bring awareness to environmental concerns. They deliver programs in schools and the public domain designed to encourage the use of creative thinking to resolve environmental issues and to promote a sustainable lifestyle.
